From its inception, Sparrows Landing Global has supported orphanages throughout Cairo, Egypt.
This week, Ehad Ahmed Elbotaly, one of our global outreach specialists, visited the Longing for Paradise orphanage bearing groceries.
As we have been informed, their economic situation is complex, and many things are lacking during this school year.

Wonder Woman Wednesday!
Restoring Hope and Enriching Lives🧡 Under our Wonder Woman Wednesday program, April and May, the Sparrows were blessed to serve the ladies residing at Hyacinths Place, DC.
Hyacinth’s Place is a permanent, affordable housing program in Washington, DC, that provides comprehensive therapeutic and social reintegration services for fifteen homeless women with a mental diagnosis.
These women are challenged to move above and beyond their circumstances while equipped with skills to improve their quality of life.
To better know these women, April, we started with an Ice Breaker

Coffee & Conversation June 24, 2023
This past Saturday, June 24th, 2023, Under our Homeless Impact DC initiative, the Sparrows held its Coffee and Conversation program at CCNV homeless shelter. As we have served there many times, providing the Bristol Coffee Shop experience, we got to know our brothers and sisters, those who like their Coffee black, who wished to add cream and raw sugar, who couldn't have too much sugar or sweets, and who were our specialty tea lovers. Covington, GA (Outreach) June 14, 2023
Today, The Sparrows extend its arms to the Garden of Gethsemane Homeless Shelter, located in Covington, GA.
The shelter had run out of cleaning supplies and was in great need of retaining the upkeep of the facility, limiting germs, and handling the washing of clothes.
As we have served the Garden of Gethsemane shelter previously during the pandemic. It was God's plan today that we stop by to visit before heading back to DC.
Obedience is better than sacrifice, and it's an honor to have the mission of serving.
We are restoring hope and enriching lives.

The Sparrows were out in our neighboring community, @DistrictHeightsDay!
Inspire Business Partnerships, and Collaboration shared many causes through serving.
It was good seeing family and friends coming together. Children are performing and dancing, and vendors, live music, excellent grilling, and food trucks overall; everyone is having a fun-filled day.

Keeping The City Warm event with SLG, DC fathers and @becomingcee. It was a blast! Over 200 Washington DC homeless residents were served coffee, tea, hot chocolate, apple cider, lunch, Hypothermic Survival Kits, Hoodies @Champion, and love! Many residents were thrilled to see the Sparrows and told us how much they missed this event! From the old-school music, the hearty meal, and the @WashingtonCommanders and Dallas talk ... what many missed most was the...etc
