Keeping the City Warm, our winter program which provides hypothermic kits filled with hats, gloves, socks and heating supplies to the homeless throughout the city.
Coffee & Convesrsation
Coffee & Conversation, our spring and fall program that provides a coffee shop bistro experience for the homeless where they are served a variety coffee, tea, danishes, breakfast and toiletry kits as well as provided the proper environment to share their stories, hardships, receive community, support and prayer.
Wonder woman wednesday
Wonder Woman Wednesday- Supports the homeless women in the Washington DC community with informational resources, hygiene supplies, support and a positive outlet to share their stories and current life situations.
World food day
World Food Day- Our largest food distribution outreach project where we prepare dinner and a homeless friendly grocery shopping experience for those living on the street throughout DC.
Thankful thursdays
Thankful Thursdays- Held each Thursday in November (excluding Thanksgiving) and provides the homeless with provisions like winter gear, snacks and vitamins to prepare the upcoming winter months.

Heart of the East is SLG's largest international outreach initiative, created by our late Sparrow, Stephene F. Chawala, serving the homeless throughout East Africa. Sparrows Landing Global Inc currently runs the Stephene F. Chawala Foundation.
